ANDY WARHOL

Dear 6/5 and 6/6 students.

Apologies that i am not around today. I know that is good news for you but I am in pain!!! lol.

Anyway, i will only continue Batik after the other class has done theirs. For now, we have a new project we will start on.

Here are your tasks:

1)  Search ANDY WARHOL on google and do a quick research about him and look at some of his paintings

2) Watch this video to learn more about the artist:

4) When you are ready, go to this website, click on Andy Warhol and complete the activity.

5) If Andy Warhol is still alive now, what other everyday objects do you think he would use? (For example, iPhone? iPad? skateboard?
Think of at least one 1 or 2 items, search for an image on the computer and trace the image/outline on the paper given to you.

Next week when I'm back, we will have a short quiz on what you have learnt today.
We will also be doing PHOTOGRAPHY based on today's lesson. So do dress smartly and look your best just in case you want to be in the photographs.

 I will be teaching you how to use the camera and in groups you will be taking your own photographs (of a certain theme of course).
